Join in the Christmas magic at Hamleys,Dundrum by having Breakfast with Santa! Santa's elves will be welcoming the children, making them feel extra special and entertaining them throughout this unique experience.

There will be christmas activities for all the children to enjoy. Each little guest will have a special chat with Santa himself, hearing tales of Lapland and magical stories of Christmas. After some scrumptious food everyone can enjoy Christmas games, singing and best of all, get to make their very own wish list surrounded by the finest toys in the world. Just before its time for Santa to leave, his special guest will receive a goody bag and march out to Hamleys Christmas post box to send their wish list off to the North Pole.

Running daily until December 24th. At 7.30 am your children will be greeted by the elves and taken up through the toy store to Santa's workshop.There they will enjoy a yummy selection of breakfast goodies from cereal to Christmas tree toast.Tea and coffee will be provided to keep the grown-ups warm. The experience will last for 1 hour and each child will go away with a goody bag full of Hamleys treats. What a magical way to start your day.

The Hamleys Summer Camp adventure starts on 30th June and the fun doesn't end until 2nd September.

The Pirate Village at Dundrum Town Centre

Have you seen the Pirate invasion on the Pembroke Square? Now open and it's there until 2nd September.

The "pop-up" play-zone consists of giant, themed pirate inflatable's and is suitable for toddlers and up to 10 year olds.

Pirates Village is full of fun activities to keep your merry band of pirates entertained and physically active for hour-long sessions, including a Ship-wrecked Galleon, Mermaid Slide, Pirates' Assault Course, Palm Island and toddler areas. Hamleys go to the Horse Show!

Hamleys are delighted to sponsor the kid's zone at the Dublin Horse Show in the RDS Dublin. The team from Hamleys will be on hand at the event from Wednesday 15th August - Sunday 19th August. The horse show is an iconic event held in Dublin every year. Usually held in early August this year the event will run from 15th - 19th August, allowing for competitors involved in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, time to get to Dublin for one of the most important equestrian and social events of the year.

This year Hamleys bring their magic to the Horse show with something for all ages. Join the Hamleys event team for fun activities from arts & crafts to face painting. You'll also get to meet the Hamleys bear!

Miss Ali Stage School Summer Camp at Hamleys

We are delighted to be hosting Miss Ali stage school summer camp in our funky Hamleys dance studio.

After eight years of sell out Dance Camps, Miss Ali and company are back this summer and will be hosting a variety of Camps in Hamleys for the month of August.

Each Camp lasts one week and will run from 11am - 3pm. We host a variety of activities which of course includes acting, singing and dancing but also art and crafts, special trip and an end of camp show for the family to come and watch.

Elf Factor

Would you like to join Father Christmas and his team at Hamleys this Christmas? Have you got what it takes to become an Elf? Then we are looking for you! Father Christmas is very busy in Hamleys this Christmas and we are looking for 10 bubbly, fun and hard working elves to join his team. We are holding live auditions for elves on 3rd November in Dundrum Town Centre outside HMV.

Each person will be given 60 seconds to show a panel of judges, including Father Christmas himself, that they have that extra spark to join his team..

Registration is from 11am with live auditions beginning at 12noon. If you are successful in round 1 Father Christmas will invite you back for 'Elf Off' at 4pm,at which you'll be asked some tough elf questions! The only requirement is you must be over 16 years of age. On the day feel free to bring a CV but most importantly bring your fantastic Christmas Spirit.

TinyTalk classes

Every Tuesday 10am & 11am

Tiny Talk is for all babies from birth to approximately 2 years old. The classes include 30 minutes of signing & singing to familiar nursery rhymes & action songs. Through singing and having fun, language skills can be developed as well as mathematical, musical and analytical thinking skills. Signed book time is also now a regular feature. Then 30 minutes of playtime for the little ones, more social interaction and time for the parents to socialise too and compare experiences over refreshments.

TinyTalk is "helping babies to communicate before they can talk". Parents know that one of the hardest times is when our baby cries and we can only guess what they are trying to tell us. Are they Hungry, thirsty, in pain or may just need a cuddle? From as early as 6-7 months old babies can start to communicate through sign language. Just as you can teach them to wave bye-bye and to play peek-a-boo, you can also teach them to sign, well before their vocal cords allow them to talk. By tuning in to your baby and developing a real understanding of each other, frustration can be greatly reduced- on both sides, helping to generate a closer bond. Signing also speeds up the process of learning to talk, stimulates intellectual development and enhances self esteem. The rewards of baby signing can be enormous. I Met Father Christmas

This Christmas, children can have Breakfast, Lunch or Tea with Father Christmas and his elves at Hamleys. Each little guest will take part in Christmas activities, listen to magical stories of the North Pole and even have a special chat with Father Christmas himself. After some tasty Christmas treats, each child will receive a festive Hamleys gift bag and get to post their wish list in the Hamleys letterbox, before leaving through the snow.

Breakfast: 730am - 8.30am. Lunch: 12.00pm - 13.00pm. Tea 17.00pm - 18.00pm.

Each session lasts an hour and cost €25 per child. The I Met Father Christmas experience is suitable for children aged 2-11.

From now until Christmas Eve; children can visit Father Christmas in his magical Grotto on the top floor of Hamleys. Each child will chat and have their photo taken with jolly old Saint Nick and leave with a great present!

ClapHandies Christmas Workshops

ClapHandies is getting into the spirit with Festive Workshops for all the family at Hamleys this Christmas. Each session lasts half and hour and is the perfect way to spend some quality tinsel time with the family or have some fun after all that shopping!

Workshops will include Christmas Crafts, Christmas Carols and Christmas Story Time. From December 2nd workshops run from 11am - 3pm Thursday to Sunday. Located on the 2nd floor in Hamleys opposite Father Christmas's grotto.

Fun- Field - Fusion comes to Hamleys Dundrum

Term: Fridays, 12th April - 21st June in Hamleys Dundrum.

Fun Field Fusion Musical movement is an opportunity for young children to explore movement through music. This can assist social, physical and emotional development by building listening skills, attention span, concentration and memory. Music can improve children's overall learning and self-esteem. Fun-Field-Fusion Musical movement provides a fun filled experience for children with opportunities for non-competitive success-orientated and creative experiences.

Through movement children learn about their bodies, space around them and each other. Creative movement activities encourage all children to participate. Both boys and girls enjoy these classes and all children benefit.

A Musical Movement class will incorporate Scarf's, Ribbons, Instruments Bubbles, Bean Bags, Hoops and a variety of fun action songs.

The SillyBilly Music program introduces a love of Music, Songs and Rhythm, Instruments, Stories and Imagination. Our music program educated children giving them a confidence for life. Miss Ali Stage School!

Miss Ali stage school are delighted to take home in the Hamleys dance studio located on the 3rd floor.

Miss Ali stage school offers classes in all aspects of performing arts catering for boys and girls from 3-20 years.

Each class is run in a professional dance equipped studio and hosted by a team of extremely energetic, experienced and professional teachers. There is always a buzzing atmosphere. Throughout the year students are kept busy taking part in shows, guest workshops, competitions, auditions, theatre trips, camps, recitals, flash mobs and much much more.

Miss Ali's dance crew are former Dance Master Winners. Student's theatre credits include- The Olympia, The O Reilly Theatre, The Mill Theatre, The RDS and the National Concert Hall. Student's television credits include The Late Late Show, The Tudors, Elev8 and the Den. Miss Ali's dancers also performed with JEDWARD in the Olympia pantomime.
