Birthday Tea & Tour
Our fantastic tour guide will take you around the 7 floors of Hamleys, giving you all the behind-the-scenes gossip, news and history. You’ll learn how much Hamleys has changed since it opened in 1760 and how the store operates now.
We’ll build the tour to suit the birthday child, ensuring that special attention is paid to their favourite toys and games and we’ll even give them a chance to play at being a demonstrator.
Once you have visited all the floors, you’ll be taken to the Hamleys Regal Tea Café for morning or afternoon tea with stacks of cake and sweets, before being given a goody bag to take home.
Make sure you allow at least 1½ hours, plus plenty of time to shop afterwards.

Penthouse Birthday Party
Parties can take place in our amazing new party room throughout the year.
We create parties for different age groups and can cater for groups of all boys, all girls or mixed groups of boys and girls.
You’ll have a choice of themes and plenty of activities and food to keep your party guests happy.
Themes: Magic, Mad About Motors, Pirates & Princesses, Arts & Crafts
All parties include: Invitations, Activities, Party Tea, Birthday Cake and Goody Bags.
Times: Parties last 2 hours

Suitable for children aged between 4 and 11 years old. Parents or guardians of the birthday child must remain throughout, taking responsibility for all children. All party staff members are Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked. There will be a qualified First Aider present throughout.
Magical Toy Shop Party
Have you ever dreamt of having a whole toy shop to yourself? We’ll open Hamleys especially for your party on a Sunday morning for a couple of hours before we let anyone else in.
No two adventurers are the same, so we’ll work with you to create the party of your dreams, agreeing the theme, entertainments or activities. And of course there’ll be party food, birthday cake and a goody bag for everyone.
Sunday Running Order:
09.45am: The birthday child arrives
10.00am: Guests arrive via the main doors of Hamleys
10.15am: Entertainment or Activity
11.15am: Treasure Hunt around the store
11.45am: Party tea
12.30pm: Party ends. Children all get a goody bag to take home.
Themes: We will work with you to create an overall theme, encompassing the Invitations, Entertainment or Activity, Birthday Cake and also Goody Bags.

The Hamleys Sleepover
The Hamleys Sleepover is an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. Having the entire toy store to yourself and your closest friends… all night long? It's like a dream come true!
With the fantastic Hamleys Sleepover, we supply you with special invitations to send out to each of your friends. Whether you want to be a Pirate or a Princess… we will find a theme to suit you and make sure your whole night is magical, from what you choose to wear through to watching your favourite movie.
9pm: VIP Arrivals:
Arrive at the front door and be greeted by your party hosts.
You will go straight to the Dress-Up department to get yourself a fantastic outfit.
Then it’s photographs and a visit to the Sweet Factory.
10pm: Let the games begin
Treasure Hunts and Activities.
11pm: Late-Night Feast
Create a menu of truly scrumptious party food, prepared by your very own chef.
12am: Midnight at the Movies
Climb into your sleeping bag and curl up with juice and popcorn.
8am: Breakfast
9am: Time to head home

Mini Burger 100% fresh vegetable burger topped with melting cheese in a sesame seed bun (100% beef or chicken alternative available).
Quesadilla Grilled flour tortillas crammed with mozzarella cheese, tomato and sweetcorn.
Stuffed Baby Baked tiddler tatties stuffed with cream cheese and onion.
Potato Fish Footballs Football shaped mini fishcakes, served with tartar sauce.
Root Chips Oven roasted root vegetable chips served with a selection of dips.
Dessert Home made Belgian-style waffle topped with ice-cream and forest fruits.
