Emma's Diary - Mum Review
18mths - Millie really enjoyed playing with the blocks. Her hand-eye co-ordination was challenged with these blocks but she did manage to build a small tower. I then built a tall tower and together we knocked it down which she found the best fun. She is not quite old enough to make a house or proper shape, but she did seem to enjoy stacking them. 3yrs – Ciya built herself a ‘castle’ in pink – her most favourite colour! She told a story of how her Barbie will live in it. Her hand-eye co-ordination is very good and she managed to balance all sort of shapes and built high up. She did spend some time trying to balance some of the rectangular pieces on the triangle…problem solving, finding out that that is a rather difficult thing to do. She did enjoy building with these pretty pastel blocks.4yrs – Aniela loved building

with these pretty bricks. She stacked all sorts of shapes to build a wide, tall tower. Her problem solving was good, she didn’t have much trouble in balancing blocks that are not able to balance. She played with the blocks for a very long time.
4yrs – Kymani built the tallest tower made up of only the cubes, he most enjoyed these blocks when he was playing with other children. Stacking and knocking down was the highlight of this toy for Kym. His hand-eye co-ordination was put into practice with these blocks and it did inspire team work from him as he asked for other to help.5yrs – Oskar used his imagination and built different types of building, a restaurant, car park, a house and re-created his school. His hand-eye co-ordination is well developed so he did this with ease and enjoyed the stacking and placing different shapes to make different rooms or type of building. His masterpiece was a school building containing friends. He used his imagination and turned the blocks into classrooms and even an assembly hall. The pieces themselves are coloured in lovely pastel colours and are well made, chunky bits of wood of all different shapes and sizes, which encouraged the children to build in different ways. When the children played together in a group it encouraged sharing of the blocks and they helped each other to build and watched as one got higher and higher and then finally something was not quite balanced and then it tumbled. Lots of fun.
