Register for an account

Creating an account with Hamleys will allow you to purchase items from our website. Once you have registered an account with us we will use the email address provided to confirm any orders with you.

You will also receive status updates on your orders and we will sign you up for our newsletters about the latest toys, events in our stores and sale information. If you would prefer not to receive our newsletters you can change your preferences in the ‘my account’ section once registered.

Confirming an order

Add the items you wish to purchase in to your basket and press ‘checkout’, sign into your account, enter your delivery address and payment details. We accept the following credit and debit cards as a form of payment: American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Visa. We also accept Hamleys paper gift vouchers and e-vouchers as a method of payment.

Once your order has been placed you will receive an email confirming your order. Orders can also be placed by telephone with our Customer Service department. For opening hours please see the “Contact Us Page”.


Gift Wrapping

We offer a premium and standard gift box and wrapping service – if you chose this service your toys will be individually packed in our beautifully presented gift boxes. Our gift boxes and wrap are priced according to the size of the toy, carry the Hamleys logo and come with a gift card for your personal message. Gift boxes can also be purchased separately without the stuffing.

Please note: Our gift box and wrap service is not available on larger items such as rocking horses, sit and ride vehicles and items that are delivered directly from our partners. You can add gift wrap when you add a toy to your basket or at checkout Your personal gift message can be up to 95 characters in length and will be included on a gift tag.


When can I expect my order to arrive?

We aim to process and despatch all orders received through our website within 1 working day of confirming your order which means your toys should arrive in 2-4 working days. During busy periods we may take longer to despatch your
items. For items despatched from our warehouse you will receive a “your toys have been despatched” email.

Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) via our partner Parcelforce.
Larger items, primarily outdoor or ride-on products are shipped directly from our partners and may take longer to arrive. Delivery times are included within the product pages.

Please note: a signature is required for most deliveries so please choose an address to fit these needs.


Can I track my order once it has been despatched?

Toys despatched from our warehouse are delivered using Parcel Force. Once your Toys are shipped from our warehouse you will be sent a “your toys have been despatched” email and a Parcel Force tracking number will be provided. If you wish to track your order after it has been despatched follow the instructions in the email or sign-in to your account and click on ‘track a recent order’.

For larger items, primarily outdoor or ride-on products shipped directly from our partners delivery times are included within the product pages. If you require further details please fill in the “Where is my order web form”or or contact our Customer Service team on 0871 704 1977.


Security Checks

As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we conduct security checks on all our orders.
These can take various forms and may involve contacting you by telephone or email before we process your order.
Hamleys also retains the service of various credit rating and fraud prevention companies, and we may share details
of your order with them for the sole purpose of detecting and preventing fraudulent use of your payment cards.


Cancelling Orders

Under consumer protection regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of acceptance. Should you wish to cancel your order within 7 days we will refund you the price for the goods and delivery charges even if the order has already been despatched. If you have received the goods they must be returned unused.
